     Tom Brady Gisele Bundchen

As I reported back on April 6th, Gisele Bundchen and Tom Brady were attempting to a hold a private wedding ceremony in Costa Rica with no paparazzi or unauthorized shots. Brady and Bundchen hired security to set up a perimeter and maintain security.

According to two paparazzi, they were taking shots of the wedding from a location across from where it was taking place with permission from the property-holder. The photographers allege that security accosted them and demanded the memory cards from the cameras. One of the photographers ran from security and the other was held and his camera confiscated.

After much fuss, both photographers will allowed into their vehicle but security demanded they drive up to the Bundchen residence for further discussion. The two paparazzi thought it better to flee security entirely and as they tried to do so, they claim they were subject to multiple gunshots, shattering the rear windshield and narrowly missing the heads of the two runaways.

Federal documents filed in New York claim Brady and Bundchen were negligent in training and hiring their security staff and allowed security permission to discharge firearms with intent to kill or wound. The photographers are requesting $1 million dollars in damages.

And here I thought if what happens in Vegas stays in Vegas, surely what happens in Costa Rica stays in Costa Rica. Even despite the fact that paparazzi are the source of my news, I still can’t stand them.

Here are the police pictures of the damage to the car after the reported incident…
