First came the first interview clip with Diane Sawyer and then the second. Finally, she fulfilled her contractual obligations with a third and final interview with Diane Sawyer for 20/20.
The first half of the interview was quite revealing. The revelations began with Rihanna’s childhood and about the origins of her relationship with Chris Brown. It also went into Rihanna and Chris Brown’s quick rise to fame. The interview then went into the details surrounding the night- how it all began, how it ended, and how she felt about it. The first half ended with Rihanna’a admission that her father was a wife-beatin’ piece of shit when she was growing up as well.
The second half of the interview was a little more for the audience. Rihanna discussed her feelings about Chris Brown, her reactions to some of his public apologizes and appearances, and contained the picture of Rihanna that police had taken after her beatin’ and she reacted poorly to it, naturally. She also went into detail about why she initially went back to Chris Brown and when she decided enough was enough.
